Automatically Search for bargains on eBay.
Find the great buys just before the auction ends.
Don't spend hours searching when eBaySpy can do it for you.

Tired of clicking on hundreds of auctions trying to find what you want.
Let eBaySpy list your search results with
pictures

The picture feature is great but be warned if you only have a dial-up modem connection it can take a lot of time to include pictures.  There are workarounds.  You can limit the number of records to search at a time or you can let the program search while you work on something else.  If you have a faster internet connection the picture feature really rocks.

Instructions for using eBaySpy

Find the items you want

This is a great tool to find bargains on eBay.  You can set the price range you are looking for.  Set the time left in the auction you are looking for.  You can narrow your search by selecting the explicit category to search in.  You can tell the program to only show you auctions that have no reserve.   You can even tell the program to hide in the background and automatically search eBay at your selected interval.  You can go on working and eBay will search for you.   Best of all the program is FREE.

Scenario 1

Your looking for some art prints.  You input your search words to what you are looking for.  You set your price to your upper limit. (if your just browsing set it high to include everything)  You set Select auctions with 10 Days left.  You set your Category with "Collectibles; Art; Prints".  You set your maximum number of records to show to 200.   (The max is 400)  You set the skip the first blank records to 200.  This is because it takes time to process all of those auctions.  By the time your browser lists the results early auctions will already be closed.  You may need a little lower or higher number depending on the number of items in the category.  You become quite good at this with practice.  You set the 3 ways to list your search results to Show pictures in list.   Then you click Start.  Now you can go work on something else.  The program will open your browser and list the results when it is complete.     Then you can relax and browse the entire list with pictures at your leisure.  If you have a fast connection it doesn't take all that long.  A modem connection takes a while.

You can even start a search before you go to bed and the results will be displayed in the morning and the program will disconnect the modem when it is done if the program makes the initial connection.

Scenario 2

Lets say you're looking for a video card that has 32MB of ram and you don't want to pay more then 75.00 dollars for it.  You don't care what the price of the item is when the auction begins.  You just want to know what the item is selling for 1 hour before closing.  So you type in Video 32MB in the search words field.  You type 75.00 in the price field.  You set the Categories for Computers; Hardware; Video; Video Cards.  You set select auctions with 1 Hour left.  You set Check every 45 minutes. You click only no reserve auctions.  Last you click Hide.   The program will silently check eBay every 45 minutes looking for the products that match your search criteria.  You can go on working.  You don't even have to stay connected to the internet.  The program can be set to call your internet provider check eBay then log off after the search is completed.  If it finds a match you can set the program to sound an alarm so you don't even have to be seated at the keyboard.
